I qualified in June 2022 and have worked both online and face to face with a large number of clients since then.
I am an 'integrative' counsellor/therapist which means I will draw on a range of ways for us to work together to help you move forward with whatever is troubling you.
I can support a range of issues, these may include:
Anxiety. Depression. Neurodiversity (ADHD, Autism, DLD, BPD) Self harm. Eating difficulties
Workplace issues Friendship difficulties. Bereavement Separation/divorce
Family breakdown or changes Anger. Sleep problems Relationship difficulties
Understanding disability and long term illness in self or the family
How does counselling work?
An initial assessment will help us to see if we feel we can work together and if I don’t have the skills or experience to meet your needs I will signpost you in the right direction.
There is no magic wand and I can't 'fix' you or make a diagnosis but we can work together to help you find a different perspective on an issue and strategies to help you feel better and to understand and love yourself a little bit more.
Reviews:
'Today was the first time I spoke to Francesca. She made me feel very comfortable, I felt listened to, I was able to express myself without feeling judged, and I am looking forward to this journey with hopes of progressing.'
'Thank you for being my support, it took a while but I now know I need to think about myself first and give myself time to process things.'
'Francesca is warm, professional and very supportive. She actively listens and has already helped me a lot in our first few sessions. The tools she has used to identify areas I need help with have been very effective.'
